Private Sessions are included in Level 3 of the 6-Week Uplifting Compassion Training Program and 3-Month Uplifting Compassion Maintenance Program. I facilitate your experience, using Reiki Energy Healing or Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, to help you look deeply into yourself, identify internal obstacles that are holding you back on your path to wellness, and discover your own, unique ways of overcoming them.
Each session is 75 minutes long, and includes
- Detailed check-in to discuss your current needs and select the best way of addressing them
- Reiki Energy Healing or Phoenix Rising Therapeutic Yoga, selected during our initial check-in
- Concluding integration, to help you implement the insights you received in your daily life
Sessions are held at two convenient locations, in the Wash Park and Platte Park neighborhoods:
- Tuesdays at Mayu Sanctuary, 1804 S. Pearl Street (near Platte Park)
- Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 1221 S. Clarkson Street, suite 222 (near Wash Park)
What is Reiki? How does Reiki Work?
Reiki is a powerful form of natural healing that works with your bio-electric field to help you balance your energy flow and supports healthy functioning of your nervous system.
Look at your hand: What do you see? Skin that covers muscles, that cover bones… But what lies beneath all that? If we could magically fine-tune our eyes to pierce the veil of matter, we would discover an infinitely fine and complex web of light, a network of energy channels that pulse with life and form the underlying blueprint of our being. Every bit of your body and your life is generated by your energy field. Reiki offers us a direct and powerful way to access your energetic blueprint and restore your inherent balance and wholeness.
My personal approach to Reiki rests upon my faith in my clients’ inner wisdom, wholeness, and power. Through Reiki, I help my clients learn how to tap into their own energetic source. Once you begin to sense and direct the flow of your life force, you become empowered to direct the flow of your life.
I enrich the Usui tradition by adding guided meditations, exercises for enhanced awareness, and intention setting that help my clients connect with their own inner light. I could write pages about the benefits of Reiki, but the best way to find out is to receive a treatment and experience the magic for yourself.
What is Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy?
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a healing art that blends yoga with contemporary body/mind psychology. During a session, we use mindful movement, breath, touch, and assisted yoga poses to help you connect with the innate wisdom of your body.
The power of Phoenix Rising is in empowering YOU! Through befriending your body, mind, and spirit, you become your own best therapist, teacher, and guide. I fell in love with Phoenix Rising in the first session I received, because it taught me how to be the expert on myself and my life. Now, as a practitioner, I love seeing the “Aha!” moments when my clients discover their own answers and inner resources for living life with confidence and grace.
I coach you in listening to yourself deeply, with honesty and compassion. You will walk away from each session with at least one specific action step, discovered and chosen by you, that will support you in creating meaningful, positive change in your life.
